5 Star Doggy Accommadation
Your furry friend will stay in our home and be looked after as though they were part of our family. They will sleep by the Aga or Wood burner and be with me all day. I will take them for at least two walks and a play in the safe doggy barn. They will have constant supervision . For an extra charge I can also train them if you are concerned about any aspects of their behaviour.
Before having your dog to stay over I like to spend the day with them first so that we can bond. I would also suggest that they stay for one night before staying for a long period. This helps them to realise that they haven't been 'abandoned'. I will then decide whether I can have them for a long period and quote accordingly.
If you are worried they may wander we will ensure that they are either on a lead or have a tracking collar on. You will get at least two videos or photos of them each day. Your lovely Pooch will be so well looked after that they won't have time to miss you.
I'm afraid I cannot accept aggressive dogs.
There is a discount of 10% for each subsequent dog if more than 7 nights. This can be negotiated for longer stays. Dropping off or picking up can be arranged for an extra fee.
CANCELLATIONS- Please not that if you cancel within a week of the dog being booked in then 50% of the payment will be taken.

A TYPICAL DOGGY DAY AT HIGH BULLEN

7.15 am – Wake up greetings. Let out for a toilet break

8.30 am walk on the moors for around 30 minutes depending on age and ability of dog

9.00 am breakfast is served. Dogs are fed separately in different rooms.

9.30-12 midday fun on the farm helping with cleaning stables, gardening etc.

12 -1.30 am Enrichment and fun in the Doggy Play Barn

1.30-3.00 pm Rest time

3pm-5pm walks on the moors or beach

5 pm Tea is served.

6 pm -9 pm relax on sofas/dog beds with hosts in front of fire. Lots of cuddles.

9.30 pm last walk and toilet break

10 pm Yummy treat before bed time
As you can see from this typical day our pooch guests are free range and have to be trusted not to kill chickens or chase horses and have good recall. We have wrap around dog proof fields and no roads but we do have horses and chickens wandering around.
A new dog will also wear a tag so that the alarm will go off if he/she wanders over our boundary fence.
